Why Does Your Resume Matter?

Your resume is often your first interaction with potential employers. A well-written and thoughtfully designed resume can increase your chances of getting shortlisted by highlighting your strengths clearly and professionally.

Ideal Resume Structure

  1. Header: Name, contact number, professional email, LinkedIn, GitHub.
  2. Career Objective: Short 2–3 lines about your career aspirations and values.
  3. Education: College, degree, stream, year, percentage/CGPA.
  4. Skills: Highlight relevant technical and soft skills.
  5. Projects: Key academic or personal projects, including tech stack and outcomes.
  6. Internships / Experience: Role, organization, duration, responsibilities.
  7. Certifications / Achievements: Relevant recognitions or credentials.
  8. Extra-curriculars: Leadership, clubs, volunteering, etc.
